Customer Service Job Description - Part Time

Come work in a tropical greenhouse, with beautiful houseplants and our passionate team - apply today! This is a front-line, customer-facing role focused on creating great experiences in our greenhouse - you’ll be the first point of contact for customers — at checkout, on the phone, and during events. You’ll help ensure our processes are followed, our service is consistent, and every customer interaction reflects who we are as a company.

You’ll succeed in this role if you are energized by helping people, enjoy juggling different tasks, and take pride in following through on commitments.

Work hours are 3 days a week in the greenhouse - ideally Monday-Wednesday. Flexible on this (except Monday).

What you’ll do:

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly, can-do attitude

• Create a fun, engaging atmosphere at checkout and during events

• Process in-store orders accurately from start to finish

• Answer phones, emails, and voicemails promptly and professionally

• Ensure customer service timelines are met (emails within 24 hours, voicemails within 4 business hours)

• Follow established processes for opening/closing, restocking, and cleanliness

• Clearly communicate what we can and cannot do for customers — and escalate when unsure

• Follow through on commitments and proactively communicate if priorities shift

  It helps if you also:

  • Have experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality

  • Are comfortable using POS systems or inventory software

  • Have worked in a fast-changing, hands-on environment
